Access by Car

From Tokyo, Nagoya, and the Hokuriku region
  • Kyoto-higashi I.C.
  • Kawabata-dori Sanjo
  • Oike-ohashi Bridge
  • City Hall
  • Sakaimachi-dori
  • Ryokan KOHRO

Get off at the Kyoto-higashi I.C. on the Meishin Expressway, and proceed toward Kyoto for about 20 minutes.
Turn right at Kawabata-dori Sanjo (the Sanjo-ohashi intersection), and turn left at Oike-ohashi Bridge.
After passing Kyoto City Hall, turn left at the sixth street, Sakaimachi-dori.
(There is a FamilyMart on the corner where you want to turn.)
Keep going straight and you will find Ryokan KOHRO on the third corner.
Note: It is about a 30-minute drive from Kyoto-higashi I.C. to the hotel.
However, it may take longer depending on traffic conditions, etc.

From the Chugoku region
  • Kyoto-minami I.C.
  • Kujo-dori
  • Kujo Aburanokoji-dori
  • Horikawa Gojo
  • Karasuma Gojo
  • Karasuma Rokkaku
  • Ryokan KOHRO

Get off at the Kyoto-minami I.C. on the Meishin Expressway, and turn left.
Turn right at Kujo-dori, and turn left at the Kujo Aburanokoji-dori intersection.
(The name of the street changes from Aburanokoji-dori to Horikawa-dori along the way.)
Turn right at the Horikawa Gojo intersection, and turn left at Karasuma Gojo.
Keep going straight, and turn right at the traffic light at Karasuma Rokkaku.
After that, you will find Ryokan KOHRO on the third corner.

Access from JR Kyoto Station

By Taxi
If you are taking a taxi, tell the driver to take you to Sakai-machi Rokkaku.

By City Bus
If you are taking the City Bus, take either the No.5, No.26, or No. 101 bus.
At Kyoto Station Bus Terminal, use Bus Stop A for the No. 5, or Bus Stop B for the No. 26 and No. 101.
Get off at Shijo Takakura.

By Subway
If you are using the subway, take the train bound for "Shijo/Kokusai-kaikan".
The 3rd station, "Karasuma Oike", is the nearest station.
Leave the station by Exit No. 5. From there, it takes approximately 5 minutes on foot.

If you are coming from Osaka by train

If you are coming on the Hankyu Railway
If you are taking the Hankyu Railway, Karasuma Station on the Kyoto Line is the nearest station.
Please up the stairs at the Osaka-bound end of the platform.
Pass through the ticket gate and go up to ground level by Exit No.14.
You will emerge at the Nomura Securities building.
Turn left at the corner of the building, go straight for 3 blocks, and KOHRO is at the north-east corner of the intersection.
It is approximately a 6-minute walk.
By Keihan Electric Railway
If you are taking the Keihan Electric Railway, Keihan Sanjo Station is the nearest station.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the hotel from the station on foot.
You will see Sanjo Ohashi Bridge when you leave the station.
Cross the bridge and go straight along Sanjo Street.
On the way, you will pass an arcade, a shop called Yojiya, a YMCA, and a shop called Ishiguro-kouho.
When you come to a corner with a soba noodles restaurant called Daitsuru on the left, take a left. KOHRO is on the next corner.

By Airport Bus

Airport buses to the Hachijo Exit of JR Kyoto Station are available from each airport.

Journey time: 95 to 105 minutes (Kansai International Airport to Kyoto Station)

Skygate Shuttle is a transportation service operated by MK Taxi.
Passengers are taken from the airport to KOHRO door-to-door. And vice versa.
Advance reservation is required. Since rides are shared, your journey time may be longer depending on other passengers.
